How to Add Your Website to an iPhone or iPad Home Screen with a Custom Icon

Want your website to look great when someone saves it to their iPhone or iPad home screen? Follow these simple steps to add a custom favicon that appears as an app-like icon.

STEP ONE

Create Your Icon

Create a square PNG image that is 57x57 pixels.
This image will be used as the icon when someone adds your website to their home screen.

STEP TWO

Upload the Icon to Your Files

1. Log in to your PhotoBiz account.

2. Go to the Files section from the left-hand menu.

3. Upload your 57x57 PNG icon image.

4. Once uploaded, click on the file and copy the direct link.

STEP THREE

Add the Icon to Your Site

1. In the left-hand menu, go to the Website tool.

2. At the top, click Design.

3. Choose Edit Design Settings.

4. In the right-hand menu, click CSS/JS.

5. In the Head section, paste the following code—replacing INSERT IMAGE LINK HERE with your favicon's URL:

FINAL STEP

Click Save to apply your changes.

Now, when someone visits your site on an iPhone or iPad and taps Share > Add to Home Screen, your custom icon will appear on their home screen!
