How to Access & Use Sales Reports in PhotoBiz ECommerce
Overview
PhotoBiz ECommerce includes built-in Sales Reports that allow you to track your business performance in one place. You can view sales totals, payments received, customer details, invoices, and tax data based on a selected date range. These reports help you understand your revenue, monitor transactions, and stay organized for accounting purposes. This guide walks you through how to access and run these reports in your account.
STEP ONE
Log into your PhotoBiz account and click on ECOMMERCE in the left-side menu.
STEP TWO
Mouse over the TRACKING option at the top of your ECommerce control panel and click on REPORTS in the drop down menu that opens.
STEP THREE
Select the report you want to run and choose your preferred date range. After selecting your options, click Run Report to generate the results.
Available Report Types
PhotoBiz provides several report options to help you track different areas of your business:
- Sales Report
Shows total sales for the selected time frame. Includes order number, order date, client name, subtotal, shipping, taxes, and total order amount.
- Payments Received
Displays all payments collected within the selected date range. Includes order number, date submitted, client name, payment type, and total amount.
- Customer Report
Lists all customers who placed orders during the selected time frame. Includes name, email, phone number, city, state, and country.
- Sales by Event
Breaks down total sales by event. Includes order numbers, order dates, client names, subtotals, shipping, taxes, and total amounts.
- Invoice Report
Shows invoice activity for the selected time frame. Includes invoice number, submission date, client name, payment status, subtotal, shipping, taxes, and total amount.
- Tax Report
Displays total tax collected based on your configured tax lines. Includes state/province, county, monthly tax totals, and overall totals for the selected period. This report can be filtered by year.
Exporting or Printing Reports
After running a report, you can choose to export or print your data:
- Export reports as a CSV file for use in spreadsheets or accounting software
- Print reports directly for physical records or bookkeeping
These options appear below the generated report results.
Additional Notes
- Reports are based on the date range you select, so make sure to choose the correct timeframe for accurate results
- Tax reporting reflects the tax lines you have set up in your account
- Exported CSV files can be opened in programs like Excel or Google Sheets for further analysis
