HOW TO EDIT IMAGE FOCAL POINTS IN CLIENT GALLERIES

When using square, rectangle, or portrait layouts in your proofing events, your images may be automatically cropped to fit the layout. To control how each image is framed in the grid view, you can easily adjust the focal point for every photo in your event.

Follow these simple steps to fine-tune your image display:

STEP ONE

Log into your PhotoBiz account and go to CLIENT GALLERIES from the left-hand menu.

STEP TWO

Open the event you’d like to update by clicking on its name.

STEP THREE

Click on an image thumbnail in the event.

STEP FOUR

Click the Edit Focal Point button.

STEP FOUR

A larger view of the image will open with a target icon.
Drag the target to the area you want to highlight—this becomes the center of the image when it’s cropped in the gallery layout.

Once you're done, click the X in the corner to close the editor, and then click Save Changes.

STEP FIVE

To adjust more images, click Go Back to return to the gallery view and repeat the process on additional photos.

That’s it! Adjusting focal points helps ensure your images are always shown at their best—just the way you want your clients to see them.
