Using Your PhotoBiz Mailbox with Gmail
If you have a PhotoBiz Mailbox email address but prefer using Gmail to manage your email, this guide will show you how to:
In this example, we’ll use support@photobizlovesme.com. Be sure to substitute your own PhotoBiz email address and password when following the steps.
IMPORTANT: Gmail Changes (January 2026)
Google discontinued support for:
Because of this change, Gmail can no longer pull email directly from your PhotoBiz Mailbox.
What still works:
This guide reflects the current supported setup.
Please Note: Google/Gmail discontinued support of Gmailfy and checking 3rd party mail using POP3 in January 2026. Google allows you to forward email from one mailbox to your Gmail or use the Gmail app for mobile to continue to check 3rd party mailboxes.

PART ONE
Forward Your PhotoBiz Mailbox Emails to Gmail
To receive your PhotoBiz emails in Gmail, you’ll set up forwarding inside your PhotoBiz Mailbox.
STEP TWO
On the upper right side of your Mailbox, click the Settings icon
Choose Incoming Email and then Forwarding.
STEP THREE
Enable forwarding to Gmail

Enter your Gmail email address

Save your changes
Your PhotoBiz Mailbox emails will now automatically arrive in Gmail.
Important Note: Mailbox will automatically forward email to a maximum of 4 other addresses. Settings can take 5-10 minutes to take effect.
PART TWO
Send Emails from Gmail Using Your PhotoBiz Address (Optional)
You can reply to messages or send new emails from Gmail using your PhotoBiz email address.
STEP FOUR
Open Gmail and go to Settings
Log into your Gmail account. Click the ⚙️ gear icon in the top right, then click "See all settings."
STEP FIVE
Go to the "Accounts and Import" tab
At the top of the settings page, click on "Accounts and Import."
STEP SIX
Start the send-from setup
Choose "Yes, I want to be able to send mail as...", then click Next Step.
STEP SEVEN
Enter your name and settings
In the Name field, enter how you want your name to appear in emails (ex: "Jane Doe" or "Studio Manager").
- If this is your email: ✅ Leave "Treat as an alias" checked.
- If you’re sending on behalf of someone else: ❌ Uncheck "Treat as an alias".
You can also click the link to "Specify a different 'reply-to' address" and enter your PhotoBiz email again, then click Next Step.

STEP EIGHT
Enter your SMTP details
Fill in the fields as follows:
- SMTP Server:
secure.emailsrvr.com
- Port:
465
- Username: your PhotoBiz email address
- Password: your PhotoBiz email password
- ✅ Secured connection using SSL
Click "Add Account."
IMPORTANT: The next step will send you a confirmation email that contains a clickable link OR a verification code. You'll need to log into your PhotoBiz Mailbox to either click the link OR copy/paste the code. Be sure to open another browser window to complete the next step.
STEP NINE
Verify the setup with Gmail
Gmail will send a verification email to your PhotoBiz Mailbox address. To find it:
STEP TEN
Enter your confirmation code
Back in Gmail, either click the link from the email or paste the code in the field provided, then click Verify.
You’re now set to send emails through Gmail using your PhotoBiz address!
Your PhotoBiz Mailbox email address will now show in a drop-down menu in your outbound emails from webmail giving the option to send.
STEP ELEVEN
Set Gmail to reply from the same address
Back in the Accounts and Import section of Gmail Settings, find:
➡️ "When replying to a message"
Select "Reply from the same address the message was sent to" to keep things consistent when replying.
You’re all set!
You can now send and receive emails through Gmail using your PhotoBiz Mailbox email address.
