In this guide, we’ll walk you through the steps to create a coupon code in your PhotoBiz account that allows your clients to download a digital image for free. This is a great way to offer special promotions or give clients access to select digital files as part of your services. By following the instructions below, you'll be able to set up a single-use coupon for a free digital image, while still allowing your clients the option to purchase additional images and products at full price.
STEP ONE
Log into your PhotoBiz account and click on ECOMMERCE in the left-side menu.
STEP TWO
Mouse over the PAYMENTS option at the top, center of your ECommerce control panel and click on COUPONS in the drop down menu.
STEP THREE
Click the NEW COUPON button to create a new coupon code that will allow your clients to select a digital image download.
STEP FOUR
Click on the $ OFF SINGLE ITEM option under the Dollar Discounts section. Click on CONTINUE to create teh options for your free file download coupon.
STEP FIVE
Create a coupon code that is equal to your price for an ala carte digital file and set the number of uses to 1. This will ensure the coupon code can only be used once.
STEP SIX
Choose the SPECIFIC ITEMS option from the items that will be discounted. You'll want to choose Prints/Digital IMages and then the Digital Image you want to offer for free.
Your clients will be able to add the digital file and use the coupon to take advantage of the free image download discount you're offering. They will also be able to purchase additonal images, products, etc. for your regular pricing.
