Changing Your Banner Block Layout in PhotoBiz

You can easily change the layout of any Banner Block you're using in your PhotoBiz Website Builder—whether you're updating an existing page or designing a new one. This guide will walk you through the steps to change your Banner Block layout.

STEP ONE

Log in to your PhotoBiz account and click on WEBSITE in the left-side menu.

STEP TWO

Click on the page that contains the banner you'd like to update.

STEP THREE

You can change your Banner Block layout in two different ways:

Option One: Use One-Click Layout Change
In the upper right corner of the Banner Block, you’ll see the current layout name with left and right arrows.
Click the arrows to scroll through available layouts and preview them instantly.
No need to click Save—your new layout is applied automatically.

Option Two: Change Layout Using the Right-Side Panel
Click the pencil icon in the upper right corner of the Banner Block. In the menu that opens, select CHANGE LAYOUT.

STEP FOUR

If you use Option Two, layout options will appear in the right-hand panel. Scroll through the available designs and click the Save button underneath the layout you want to apply.

You can choose from one of 12 layout options for your Banner Block:

Classic Layouts (4):

  • Classic Full Screen
  • Classic Medium
  • Classic Short
  • Classic Thin

Carousel Layouts (4):

  • Carousel Full Screen
  • Carousel Medium
  • Carousel Short
  • Carousel Thin

No Crop Layouts (4):

  • No Crop Full Screen
  • No Crop Medium
  • No Crop Short
  • No Crop Thin

Once you’ve selected the layout you want, click Save.

FINAL STEP

Preview your changes to confirm the layout looks great on both desktop and mobile. Adjust your image placement if needed.

PRO TIP!

We recommend using horizontal images for your banners—especially when using Classic and No Crop layouts. For best results, use images where the subject is centered and avoid close-up shots. Carousel layouts are more flexible and can accommodate a variety of aspect ratios.

LAYOUT TYPES EXPLAINED

Classic Layouts

Designed for “hero” images that make a big visual impact. These layouts fill a predefined amount of space and may crop your image to fit different screen sizes. They're great for background images behind headings and buttons.

Carousel Layouts

Great for showcasing multiple images of different sizes. They scroll horizontally—like a carousel—allowing you to display more than one image at a time without cropping.

No Crop Layouts

Similar to Classic layouts but preserve the full image without cropping. White space is added as needed to maintain the original aspect ratio—ideal for showing full images without losing important details.

Mobile Layout Options

You can choose a custom layout specifically for mobile display. To do this:

  • Open the Layout settings in your Banner Block.

  • Click the dropdown within the selected layout.

  • Choose one of four mobile styles that match your banner layout:

    • Full Screen

    • Medium

    • Short

    • Thin

  • Click Save Changes to apply your mobile layout.
