Adding an External Link to Your Website Navigation Menu

Adding an external link to your website is a great way to direct clients to resources outside of your PhotoBiz site, such as social media profiles, third-party galleries, blogs, or other websites. You can also use links to connect visitors to specific blocks within a page of your website. External links can be added as top-level navigation menu items or placed inside a dropdown menu.

Follow the steps below to add an external link to your website navigation:

STEP ONE

Log into your PhotoBiz account and click on WEBSITE in the left-side menu.

STEP TWO

Click on the NEW PAGE button and in the menu that opens, click on LINK.

STEP THREE

The right-side panel will open. Enter the following details:

  • Navigation Name: This is the menu item name that will appear on your website menu.

  • Page Visibility: Choose from Visible, Hidden, or Disabled.

  • Link To: Select where the external link should direct visitors. Options include:

    • External Link

    • Page (you can also link to a specific block within a page)

    • Form

    • Marketing

    • File

    • Phone

    • Email

    • Address

    • Video

    • Pop-Ups

Click SAVE CHANGES to add the external link.

STEP FOUR (Optional)

Click and drag your external link to reorder it in your website menu. You can place it as a top-level menu item or move it into a drop down menu.
