Exporting Client Gallery Visitors and Sending Targeted Emails

If you're using PhotoBiz Client Galleries, there's a quick and easy way to gather the email addresses of people who’ve visited a gallery and send them a targeted email campaign. This is perfect for letting visitors know that their gallery is expiring, reminding them to make purchases, or thanking them for checking out the event.

STEP ONE

Log into your PhotoBiz account and go to Client Galleries
Click CLIENT GALLERIES from the menu on the left side of your control panel.

STEP TWO

Click the Activity tab
At the top of your Client Galleries panel, click ACTIVITY to see who’s viewed your galleries and entered their email.

STEP THREE

Search by Event Name
Use the search bar to locate the specific event you want to generate a list from.

STEP FOUR

Export the visitor list
Click the EXPORT button to download a .CSV file of all the email addresses collected for that event.

STEP FIVE

Open your Contacts section
Mouse over the left-side menu again and click on CONTACTS.

STEP SIX

Click IMPORT
At the top of your Contacts panel, click the IMPORT button to begin uploading your list.

STEP SEVEN

Set your import options
In the import settings:

  • Email Field: Make sure this matches the column in your CSV file
  • Select A Type: Choose Customers
  • Select Tags: Add a tag (e.g., “Polson Cheer 2025”) so you can find this group later
  • ✅ Check the boxes to certify your contacts are valid and safe to email

STEP EIGHT

Confirm the import
You'll see a confirmation that says 100% imported.
If the summary shows 0 contacts imported, don’t worry! That just means all the emails already exist in your database. The tag you added will still be applied—no duplicates are created.

STEP NINE

Send your campaign
Head over to Email Marketing and create a new campaign. When you choose your recipients, select the Tag you applied in STEP SEVEN to target just those gallery visitors.
