How to Let Clients Cancel Appointments Online

If you’d like to give your clients the ability to cancel their own appointments, you can easily manage that setting in your PhotoBiz Scheduler.

You’ll be able to choose when clients are allowed to cancel—such as up to 24 or 48 hours before the appointment, up to one week before, anytime, or not at all.

STEP ONE

Open the Scheduler Tool

Log into your PhotoBiz account and click on the SCHEDULER tab located in the left-hand menu.
This will take you to your Scheduler control panel.

STEP TWO

Access Your Policies

At the top of the Scheduler control panel, click on POLICIES.

STEP THREE

Choose Your Cancellation Settings

Find the section labeled "ALLOW YOUR CLIENTS TO CANCEL THEIR APPOINTMENTS ONLINE."
From the dropdown menu, choose how far in advance clients can cancel:

  • Never – Clients cannot cancel their appointments online.

  • Up to 24 hours before

  • Up to 48 hours before

  • Up to one week before

  • Anytime – Clients can cancel at any time before the appointment.

IMPORTANT NOTE

Even if client cancellations are restricted, you can always cancel an appointment on their behalf from within your PhotoBiz account.

PRO TIP!

If you or your client cancels a scheduled appointment that has already been paid for, PhotoBiz will not process a refund for this. You'll need to process any refunds via the merchant account that you used to process the payment.
