How to Update the Copyright Year in Your Website Footer

Your PhotoBiz Website Package includes a customizable footer section where you can display important information such as your copyright, business hours, and location. If you are using a Tagline Block in your footer for your copyright notice, you will need to manually update the year when needed.

This guide walks you through how to locate the Tagline Block in your footer and update the copyright year.

STEP ONE

Log into your PhotoBiz account and click WEBSITE in the left-side menu. This opens your Website Builder.

STEP TWO

Scroll to the bottom of your page list and click FOOTER.

This opens the global footer section of your website. Changes made here update across all pages that use this footer.

STEP THREE

Locate and click on the Tagline Block that contains your copyright text.

When selected, the block settings will open on the right side of your screen.

STEP FOUR

Click directly on the tagline text that displays your copyright and year.

This allows you to edit the content inside the block.

FINAL STEP

Update the Label field with the current year.

After making your change, click Save Changes. Your website updates immediately in real time, so there is no publish button required.

You should now see the updated copyright year displayed in your footer across your website.

Helpful Tip

You can hyperlink your copyright text to your Contact page. This gives visitors an easy way to reach you directly from your footer.
