Understanding and Managing Your PhotoBiz Notifications

Whenever someone submits a form, places an order, or interacts with your PhotoBiz website, a notification is automatically generated in your account. You’ll also receive an email alert sent to your designated email address—helping you stay on top of everything happening on your site.

This includes notifications from:

  • Forms & Contract Builder
  • Client Galleries
  • Scheduler
  • ECommerce Orders
  • Quotes & Invoices
  • Conversations
  • Blog Comments

To make sure you always get your email notifications, we recommend adding emailsupport@mailbiz1.photobiz.com to your contact list. This helps keep PhotoBiz emails from going to your spam folder.

WHERE TO FIND YOUR NOTIFICATIONS

You’ll find your notifications in two main places:

✅ Home Screen

Your PhotoBiz control panel’s home screen displays a quick summary of recent activity. New notifications will be marked with a red number, and you can click on them to open a menu on the right where you can view and manage them.

🔔 Notification Bell

The notification bell is always visible in the top right corner of your account. Click it from anywhere to see your full list of recent notifications in a side menu.

Depending on the type of notifications you've accessed, you'll see a list of new notifications, as well as any that you have previously read but not removed. The example below shows notifications from appointments.

FILTERING NOTIFICATIONS

You can use the filter dropdown at the top of the notifications menu to quickly find what you're looking for. Notifications can be filtered by:

  • All
  • New
  • Orders
  • Blog Comments
  • Form Submissions
  • Conversations
  • Client Gallery Comments
  • Appointments
  • Quote Approved
  • Quote Declined

You can also mark notifications as read, mark them as new, or delete the ones you no longer need.

VIEWING DETAILS

Click on any notification to see the full details of the submission. This lets you respond quickly to form submissions, orders, comments, or client activity.

IMPORTANT: IF YOU’RE NOT GETTING EMAIL NOTIFICATIONS

PhotoBiz uses email validation to keep our email system secure. If your email provider rejects a message from us (for example, if your inbox was full or the address is misspelled), your email address may be marked as “non-deliverable” to protect our sender reputation.

If you’ve stopped receiving notification emails:

  • Call us or start a live chat with our Passionate Support team.

  • We’ll check your email status and help you get your notifications working again.
