Troubleshooting Image Upload Issues on PhotoBiz

If you're having trouble uploading images to your PhotoBiz account, don’t worry! Try the steps below—most issues can be resolved with a quick fix.

STEP ONE

Update Your System

Make sure your operating system and web browser are fully updated. Outdated software is the most common cause of upload problems.

PRO TIP: For the best experience, we recommend using the latest version of Google Chrome when uploading images.

STEP TWO

Clear Your Browser Cache

Sometimes your browser holds on to old files, which can interfere with how things load. Clear your cookies and cache, then restart your browser.

Check Your Internet Speed

Upload issues can happen if your connection is slow or unstable. You can test your internet speed here:

If your speed is low, try restarting your router or checking for router updates.

STEP FOUR

Use the Correct Image Format

Make sure your images are saved as .jpg or .png. Other file types may not upload correctly.

👉 Tip: Just renaming the file extension won’t work—you’ll need to convert the image in editing software.

STEP FIVE

Resize & Optimize Your Images

For smoother uploads, we recommend:

  • Set image height to 1730px (width will auto-scale)
  • Keep file sizes under 4MB (unless using the Original Files premium add-on)
  • Use image software like Lightroom or Photoshop to resize your images in batches

You can upgrade to the Original Files add-on, which lets you upload images up to 50MB each.
